Why I Don’t Love The Word “Hustle”

Hey beautiful!

I hope you’re having an amazing day! Life is truly beautiful even when the Universe knocks us off our feet to teach us valuable lessons.

Today, as I drove home from my corporate job 4 hours early due to feeling unwell, I decided it was time to address something with my manifestation babes, especially those (who are pretty much most of you) who are entrepreneurs.

Most of you are insanely busy. You’re either building a side hustle alongside your corporate job, growing a full-time hustle, an insanely busy mom just trying to raise a healthy happy family, or a student trying to figure out her life. I see all of us as entrepreneurs to be honest. We all came to this planet not knowing what the fuck we were meant to do with our lives and we’re all spending every single day trying to figure it all out.

Some of us have it down, the rest of us are going day by day taking signs from the Universe as they come. Along with all of its beautiful frustrations, Ahem, I mean “lessons.”

Maybe I’ll start a clothing company?

Maybe it’s time to get married?

Maybe I’d like to become a doctor.

Maybe my purpose was to raise two children?

Perhaps network marketing is for me?

Wait… how the fuck do I build a website?

What is a Facebook ad and how do I make one?!

Is this really who I’m supposed to be with for the rest of my life?

Excuse me… where is the “raise a human” manual?!

HOW DO I SELL THIS DAMN THING?

WHAT THE EFF IS GOING ON?!

If these questions didn’t resonate with you, then this blog post is not for you.

But if you’re someone who probably has all these thoughts running through your head all while you’re trying to figure out when to eat, who was supposed to go grocery shopping, why the laundry didn’t get done on time, when the next scheduled doctor’s appointment is… you KNOW I’m talking to you.

We as women, and humans in this day and age in general, are constantly BOMBARDED by the word “hustle.”

We need to hustle, hustle, hustle.

It’s the only way to succeed.

If you’re not hustling, your business, career, children, beauty, health and every other aspect of your life is supposedly “dying.”

You’re not doing life right if you’re not hustling.

Only those who hustle, win.

I want to quickly address this popular word with my gorgeous babes.

There IS a difference between good hustle and bad hustle.

After working a 100+ hour week in my business and job combined, I literally burnt out.

I woke up this morning to go to work and felt SO depressed.

As a life coach who helps OTHERS get out of the dark tunnel… I found myself on the path that was getting darker by the second. A BIG black tunnel was exactly where overworking myself was leading me.

I ended up choosing to work the rest of my day job from bed after taking a 2 hour long nap, and now I’m about to get back to working 1:1 with a few clients and get started on mapping out my next exciting course on manifesting (with incredible tips I have yet to mention in my other courses).

During my 2 hour nap, God/the Universe/my Higher Power, whatever you wanna call it, literally spoke to me.

I was told that I needed to spread this message and lesson that I am learning today with those I love, which includes you.

Don’t work so hard that you forget why you’re working towards a kickass future.

Don’t work so hard that you end up manifesting the opposite of what you actually WANT.

Kathrin, don’t work so hard that you end up getting sick, tired, and knocked off your feet.

Don’t work so hard you forget about why you’re on this planet, truly.

You’re on this planet to make a difference. To spread your light. To share your gifts.

Hustling yourself into depression leads you the opposite way. Hustling is not your life purpose. Being busy just to be busy and getting stressed out about life is not your calling. You weren’t put on this damn planet to suffer.

Take a breather.

Figure out why you’re doing what you’re doing.

Delegate what you absolutely cannot, will not, and HATE doing.

Hire someone to help you.

Ask your husbands/partners/wives to get involved.

You are not alone in this, and I am SO proud of your efforts.

It’s ok to take a day off.

It’s ok to take a breather.

It’s ok if you want to lounge in front of the TV for an entire day from time to time.

You have full permission to REST and live your damn life.

You have full permission to fucking ENJOY yourself for once.

Who cares if you stop hustling for a day or two?!

Your time is precious, but so are you.

You are the most important part of your life.

Take care of yourself babe. I love you.

To Your Massive Success,
